In 2022, PTC has signed an partnership with FOSECO which is leader of the world consumable supplier on foundries to manufacture degassing machines. This collaboration combined PTC quality with FOSECO experience.

Liquid aluminum at about 600 °C which melted in melting furnace is carried with a pot to degassing process. The pot is placed under the degassing machine as centered by rotor axis.The machine does degassing process full automatically under operator control. Respectively, the rotor starts rotate and dives in the pot. Simultaneously the ba e plate also dives with rotor.
Degassing agent (N2) is feeded to the core of the pot through the rotor. Last second degassing agent flux particles  flow to the pot through the flux (MTS) unit. After all process, the machine gets lift up. Now the melted aluminum is ready for density measurement just before the casting. PTC produces many kind of degassing unit with Foseco brand.
